Posted in According to National Football Post, Chargers’ linebacker Antwan Barnes has been fined $5,000 after his hit on Rams’ rookie quarterback Sam Bradford last Sunday.
A letter informed Barnes that he was being fined due to the hit landing in Bradford’s chest and neck area.
However, Barnes’ fellow Charger linebacker Kevin Burnett did not receive a fine after a play in which he knocked Bradford’s helmet off.
