500 Tickets Still Available for Sunday’s Game as of Thursday Afternoon

It is kind of unbelievable that with just 3 days before the Chargers face off against the Titans in the first round of the playoffs that a local television blackout is even being discussed.  Obviously the 500 tickets will be sold but this is your chance to see the Bolts win their first playoff in more than 10 years.  The weather will not be great with the impending storms expected to hit southern California this weekend but tough it out anyways.  Having grown up in San Diego, I never realized how lucky we have it until I moved to Philadelphia in 2002 and then to Cleveland in 2006.  Most fans who attend games in other NFL cities are forced to sit through horrible weather conditions at quite a few regular season games let alone playoff games in the heart of Winter.  Tough it out and go support your Bolts!!!  How many years have we had to watch other teams on TV in the playoffs? Too many to count, get your ass down to the Q and take this sweet opportunity to watch one of the most talented rosters in the NFL take it to the beat up Titans.

    Where do I begin with this?

    You’d have to be a total moron to think that the NFL would blackout a home-playoff game in the hosting city… hence the extension until 1:30PM today. I dare the NFL to Blackout a playoff game! Most likely, they would start a riot and severely impact future ticket sales for one the NFL’s most exciting teams. The negatives always outweigh the positives in not televising good football and even the corporate goons at the NFL front office know this.

    Games = Marketing & Advertising = $$$$$

    If you blackout a game, then you can’t charge as much for the marketing & advertising…
