Chargers Ink Former Vikings DT Linval Joseph to a Three-Year Deal

The Bolts have added some beef on their defensive line, as the team today signed former Vikings defensive Linval Joseph to a three-year deal.

Jospeh was a Pro Bowler for the Vikings, and was one of the first players to join Mike Zimmer in Minnesota.

The Vikings released Joseph last week in to cut salary, but said they were keeping the door open for the former Pro Bowler to return to Minnesota.

His deal will be worth $17 million, plus incentives.

The Vikings incurred $2.4 million of dead money against their 2020 cap by releasing Joseph but saved $10.4875 million by cutting the 31-year-old.
