Long time Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is no longer a resident of San Diego, as the QB has moved him and his family to Florida, to be ‘closer to family,’ (his words not ours).
It’s starting to feel that Rivers is setting up an exit plan to leave Los Angeles for good to play for another team in 2020, and being in Florida one team that likely would love to have his services are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
NFL Insider Jason La Canfora stated via Twitter that he’s “hearing a lot of buzz” about Tampa as a potential landing spot for Rivers.

The Bucs have given former first-overall pick Jamies Winston plenty of chances to develop as a starter in the NFL, but he’s just not gotten the job done in his time with the Bucs.
It was just two seasons ago that Rivers threw 32 touchdowns in leading the Bolts to a 12-4 mark and a wild card win over the Ravens.
We will see how much of a push the Bucs puts on to try and get Rivers signature on the bottom line of a contract, and the Bolts had better come up with a plan in case they can’t get the veteran back under center next season.
