A Look at the 2017 Chargers Schedule with a Glance at the Good and the Bad

The 2017 NFL Schedule is out as well as the 2017 San Diego Chargers Schedule, and here’s a look at the slate for the upcoming season, with the home games in bold:

Sep. 11 at Denver Broncos (Mon) 7:20 PM

Sep. 17 Miami Dolphins 1:05 PM

Sep. 24 Kansas City Chiefs 1:25 PM

Oct. 1 Philadelphia Eagles 1:05 PM

Oct. 8 at New York Giants 10:00 AM

Oct. 15 at Oakland Raiders 1:25 PM

Oct. 22 Denver Broncos 1:25 PM

Oct. 29 at New England Patriots 10:00 AM

Nov. 5 BYE

Nov. 12 at Jacksonville Jaguars 10:00 AM

Nov. 19 Buffalo Bills 1:05 PM

Nov. 23 at Dallas Cowboys (Thu) 1:30 PM

Dec. 3 Cleveland Browns 1:05 PM

Dec. 10 Washington Redskins 1:05 PM

Dec. 16 at Kansas City Chiefs (Sat) 5:25 PM

Dec. 24 at New York Jets 10:00 AM

Dec. 31 Oakland Raiders 1:25 PM

What’s Good about this Schedule: After an opening day game against the Rival Broncos, the Chargers have three straight at home, three games that could get this young team off to a quick start provided they can play well in their new surroundings. The Chiefs in the third week is an early key game.

What’s Bad about this Schedule: If the Bolts are going to make any sort of playoff push, they will have to do it on the road, as two of their final three games will be away from Los Angeles against the Chiefs on Christmas Day and then against the Jets in a final trip out East.
