“We look forward to having Joey join us and getting him prepared as quickly as possible for the 2016 season,” said General Manager Tom Telesco.
The Bolts selected Bosa with the third overall pick in this year’s draft. A 6-5, 280-pound product out of Ohio State, the 21-year old spent three seasons with the Buckeyes totaling 150 tackles, 50.5 tackles for loss, 26 sacks, 24 quarterback hurries and five forced fumbles in 41 games.
It came out last week that Bosa might not be able to play early in the season, as with the season starting on September 11th, the rookie will only have about two weeks to get ready for playing in the NFL.
