Last season’s top pass rusher in the Canadian Football League Cordarro Law has agreed to terms on a reserve/future contract, Michael Gehlken of UT San Diego reports.
The outside linebacker is expected to join San Diego in April when the club convenes for a nine-week voluntary offseason workout program.
Law, 25, had 14 sacks in 2013 for the Calgary Stampeders, third most in the league and second on his team. He also totaled 44 tackles, including seven on special teams.
Listed 6-foot-2 and 262 pounds, Law went undrafted in 2012 out of Southern Mississippi. He spent training camp with the Seahawks, being cut after the preseason.
The Chargers have had Law on their radar for sometime. On Dec. 5, he was one of three CFL players they hosted for a workout.
