Sproles to Be Targeted by the Dolphins in Free Agency?

Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that the Dolphins plan to add a “scat back” in free agency. Head coach Tony Sparano states that he expects this back to be able to “take it to the house” in the passing game.

Early speculation is that the Dolphins will target former Chargers running back Darren Sproles. The only other legitimate candidate would seem to be Atlanta Falcons free agent Jerious Norwood, who has a history of injuries. Rookie Daniel Thomas has already been anointed the feature back in the Miami offense.
