Blackout vs. Titans on Halloween: Bad Sign or Blessing in Disguise?

As has been speculated on for the last week or so, the Chargers game this Sunday in which they host the Tennessee Titans has been blacked out.

This if the third time in four home games for the Chargers this season that their game will be blacked out on local television. When the deadline hit on Thursday afternoon, they still had about 8,000 tickets that needed to be sold.

Not to worry though Chargers’ fans. At least you can watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Buffalo Bills in hopes that quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and his Bills can notch their first win and bring the Chiefs within only a game and a half of the Chargers.

The Chargers still remain the race for the AFC West as no one team has made a clear, dominant push for first place.

The Chargers, however, will have their hands full this week with the 5-2 Titans and Vince Young, who is returning from an injury and is looking to reclaim his place as the Titans’ starting quarterback.
