It was reported a couple days ago that, according to Adam Caplan’s twitter page, the Chargers had received a roster exemption for linebacker Brandon Lang, who supposedly left the team. As it turns out, Caplan’s sources were not so accurate.
Kevin Acee, beat writer for the San Diego Union-Tribune, is always on top of anything going on down in Charger Town. About a day ago, someone decided to head to him for information on this Lang situation and he set Caplan straight.
Per twitter, “RT @puttinggod: @sdutChargers what happened to b.lang? Did he leave the team? > He had family stuff to take care of. He’s back — ka”
So there you have it. For anyone that was worried that Lang had hit the road for good, you can breathe a sigh of relief. As mentioned by Acee, Lang left the team in order to deal with some family business, but is back and practicing with the Bolts.
