WR Legedu Naanee Has Wrapped Up His Rehab

ESPN reports that wide out Legedu Naanee has completed his rehab from foot surgery:

Chargers wide receiver Legedu Naanee has completed his rehab from foot surgery and is expected to start training camp healthy, the Chargers’ official site reports. Naanee could be a player to watch, given the upcoming suspension of and overall uncertainty attached to teammate Vincent Jackson. “We’ve been coaching Legedu Naanee and Buster Davis for three years and they’ve gotten better every year. When they’ve been asked to and when they’ve had an opportunity, they’ve made great contributions,” coach Norv Turner said. “If Vincent Jackson isn’t with us, (Naanee and Davis) are getting the opportunity of a lifetime. Legedu believes he can be a dynamic, explosive receiver in this league.” In support of that, it’s worth noting that the 6-foot-2 Naanee made 24 receptions on 29 targets last year — an 83 percent catch rate — tops in the NFL for receivers with 25 targets or more.
