Chargers Expected to Ink Turner to a New Deal

ESPN.com reports that despite the loss Sunday, the Chargers are expected to ink Norv Turner to a new deal:

The Chargers are expected to finalize a contract with Turner soon. He has one year remaining on his contract. The Chargers’ 17-14 loss to the Jets on Sunday should not affect the team’s plan. Turner is 32-16 in his three seasons as the Chargers head coach and has reached the playoffs in each of those years, going 3-3 in the postseason.

  1. I don’t care what his season record is, When your in the playoffs your season stats mean NOTHING. If San Diego wants a Superbowl then San Diego needs a WINNING coach like Bill Cowher. Turner belongs in a different coaching position, He is NOT Head Coach material. FIRE NORV! and while they are handing out pink slips send one to Mr. Nate Kaeding. Someone should check his bank account, Was he paid off to shank them kicks?

  2. Nicole Alberti says:

I agree! Get rid of Turner, and get Cowher in San Diego!!!
