Former bears defensive backs coach Steve Wilks, the first coach fired by the Bears after the season, has landed with the Chargers. He interviewed there Friday following a stop at Tampa Bay. “I’m excited about the opportunity,” Wilks said before practice at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. “Norv Turner is an outstanding coach. And I get to reconnect with Ron Rivera.”
