The word is tight end Antonio Gates has not practiced all week due to his ankle and ligament injury, but is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Steelers, ESPN’s John Clayton reports.  He’s a big part of the offense, and even at 50-60 percent he will be out there.  He was the leading pass catcher last week in the win over the Colts, and he will be counted on against the tough Steelers D on Sunday in Pittsburgh.
