The Chargers’ 5-8 record, along with the enticing matchup of the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers, prompted the NFL and NBC to make a schedule switch for Dec. 21. The Chargers’ game at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, scheduled for 5:15 p.m. (PST), is now at 10 a.m. (PST). That’s a shame for the Chargers, who have played their best football, by far, in prime time this season.
