Bolts Sign Former Bears, Eagles DT Scott

The Chargers today beefed up the D-line with the signing of Ian Scott to a deal.  Scott was the Bears fourth-round pick back in 03, and had two sacks and 77 tackles in 04.  He was with the Eagles back in 07, but hurt his knee in camp and then spent the year on IR.  He signed with the Panthers in the offseason, but they dumped him before the start of the regular season.  In six seasons he has appeared in 49 games and has started four four postseason games, and started Super Bowl XLI.  The team released rookie corner DeJuan Tribble, and released LB Eric Bakhtiari from the practice squad.
