Posted in RB LaDainian Tomlinson missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday with a sprained right big toe, but says he’ll practice on Friday and be ready to go Sunday vs the Broncos. “I’m all right; I will practice tomorrow,” Tomlinson said. “It’s just a sprained toe, that’s all. But you try and get as much rest as you can and you have to take it. It’s the heat of the season—you don’t really have time. You got games; it’s not preseason any more. On Sunday, I think I should be pretty good.” Cornerback Antonio Cromartie also sat out the practice session on Thursday as he is still nursing a sore hip. He’s yet to practice at all this week, and his status for Sunday in Denver is up in the air.
