Chargers Edged By Rams 7-6
The Chargers allowed the Rams to slip past them in a 7-6 loss Saturday in St. Louis. The Chargers had 14 starters on the bench, including quarterback Philip Rivers. San Diego is home next week to take on the Seattle Seahawks in a Monday night contest at Qualcomm Stadium.

The Chargers began preseason play with a 31-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday at Qualcomm Stadium. The Cowboys took an early 7-0 lead but the Chargers took control for the remainder of the contest. San Diego will now head to St. Louis for its second preseason game against the Rams this Saturday.

The Chargers will face the Dallas Cowboys in preseason action for the 11th time when they play on Saturday. But the teams have not gone up against each other in preseason play since 1990 when the Chargers won 28-16. Dallas has the winning edge with a 6-4 record.
