The Chargers will be in San Francisco tonight to take on the 49ers in their final preseason game. The Chargers are 8-and-3 against San Francisco in preseason action dating back to 1997. San Diego will start the regular season hosting the Carolina Panthers a week from Sunday.

The Chargers get ready for the 49ers after beating the Seattle Seahawks 18-17 on Monday night. Quarterback Philip Rivers completed 11-of-21 passes for 143 yards in almost three quarters of play. The Chargers will be in San Francisco Friday for their final preseason contest. The Bolts host the Carolina Panthers in the season-opener September 7th.
