Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers underwent successful surgery today to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Rivers will now begin an aggressive four-to-six month rehabilitation program. The 26-year-old threw for 3,152 yards with 21 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 2007. He completed 60.2 percent of his passes while posting an 82.4 quarterback rating.
