Key Chargers Players Still Uncertain For Championship Game Sunday

With the AFC Championship Game just three days away, it’s still uncertain whether quarterback Philip Rivers and running back LaDainian Tomlinson will be ready to play. Both suffered leg injuries in last Sunday’s win over Indianapolis. Head coach Norv Turner told reporters that if the game with New England had to be played yesterday, Tomlinson and Rivers would not have been able to play. Tomlinson says he thinks he’ll be ready to play Sunday. Tight end Antonio Gates remains a question mark as well, with a badly sprained toe.
