Chargers Host Titans For Wild Card Weekend Finale

The streaking Chargers will host the Tennessee Titans Sunday afternoon in the final game of Wild Card weekend at Qualcomm Stadium.  After a slow start, the Bolts won 11 of their final 13 games to win the AFC West for the second consecutive season and the third time in four years.  Philip Rivers threw for over three thousand yards to go along with 21 touchdowns.  LaDainian Tomlinson led the league in rushing, racking up just under 15-hundred yards for San Diego.  The Titans won four of their last five games, including three straight to close out the season to capture the final AFC postseason spot.  The Titans come into the contest banged up, with starting quarterback Vince Young nursing a sore quad while tight end Bo Scaife and wide out Roydell Williams are both out due to injury.  Veteran signal-caller Kerry Collins will back up Vince Young.  San Diego is winless in three all-time playoff meetings between the two franchises.  The Titans will be looking to avenge their 23-17 overtime loss to the Chargers in Week 14 in Nashville.
