Chargers To Play In London vs Saints in 08

The Chargers will travel to London to play a regular-season game later this year.  The Chargers would play a road opponent in only the second-regular season game played outside of North America. The NFL is expected to make an official announcement in about a week.

Chargers Hire 4 Coaches

Rivers Has Successful Knee Surgery

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers underwent successful surgery today to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.  Rivers will now begin an aggressive four-to-six month rehabilitation program.  The 26-year-old threw for 3,152 yards with 21 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 2007.  He completed 60.2 percent of his passes while posting an 82.4 quarterback [...]

Joiner Named Chargers Wide Receivers Coach

Charlie Joiner was named the new wide receivers coach for the Chargers on Wednesday.  Joiner was also the wide receivers coach from 1987-to-1991.  Joiner is the all-time leading wide out in team history and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
