Chargers To Play In London vs Saints in 08
The Chargers will travel to London to play a regular-season game later this year. The Chargers would play a road opponent in only the second-regular season game played outside of North America. The NFL is expected to make an official announcement in about a week.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers underwent successful surgery today to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Rivers will now begin an aggressive four-to-six month rehabilitation program. The 26-year-old threw for 3,152 yards with 21 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 2007. Charlie Joiner was named the new wide receivers coach for the Chargers on Wednesday. Joiner was also the wide receivers coach from 1987-to-1991. Joiner is the all-time leading wide out in team history and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
