Tomlinson’ OT Run Gives Chargers a Win In Tennessee

LaDainian Tomlinson ran the ball in from 16 yards out with 7:35 left in overtime to give the Chargers a 23-17 win over the Titans at LP Field.  Tomlinson carried the ball 26 times for 146 yards, and also had five receptions for 27 yards and a score, as San Diego won its third straight.  [...]

Chargers Prepare For Titans

The Chargers will face the Tennessee Titans as they look for another road victory in Nashville.  The Chargers hope to add another win before returning home to face the Detroit Lions and the Denver Broncos in their final regular season home games.  San Diego is currently 7-5 and lead the AFC West division.

Merriman Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Linebacker Shawne Merriman has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week following his performance last weekend. Merriman’s efforts helped the San Diego Chargers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 24-10 on Sunday.  Merriman had three quarterback sacks in the game to add to his total of 9-point-5 sacks so far this season.

Chargers Hope To Clinch

The Chargers continue to improve and hope to clinch a playoff berth with a victory on Sunday.  The Chargers have a two-game lead in the AFC West after winning six of their last eight games.  San Diego could clinch the division if they beat Tennessee on Sunday and if Denver loses their game this weekend.

L.T. Big Day Paces Chargers in 24-10 Win

Running all day long behind former MVP LaDainian Tomlinson, the Chargers got a measure of revenge on the KC Chiefs, topping them at Arrowhead Stadium 24-10.
