The West is Won; Chargers Dominate Lions 51-14

Darren Sproles rushed for 122 yards and a pair of scores as the Chargers locked up the AFC West title with a 51-14 thrashing of the Lions at Qualcomm Stadium.  LaDainian Tomlinson scampered for 116 yards and two touchdowns for San Diego, which claimed the division crown for the second straight year.  Philip Rivers tossed for 142 yards and a touchdown as the Bolts improved to 9-and-5.  Jon Kitna threw for 302 yards and two touchdowns, but was picked off five times in defeat.  Calvin Johnson had five grabs for 102 yards for Detroit, which fell to 6-and-8 with its sixth consecutive loss.
