Tomlinson’ OT Run Gives Chargers a Win In Tennessee

LaDainian Tomlinson ran the ball in from 16 yards out with 7:35 left in overtime to give the Chargers a 23-17 win over the Titans at LP Field. Tomlinson carried the ball 26 times for 146 yards, and also had five receptions for 27 yards and a score, as San Diego won its third straight. The Chargers came back from a 17-3 deficit early in the fourth quarter to improve to 8-and-5. Philip Rivers was 21-of-40 for 228 yards, two scores and two interceptions for the Bolts. Tennessee’s Vince Young completed 13-of-21 attempts for 121 yards and two picks. LenDale White rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries. The loss was the Titans’ fourth in their last five games, dropping them to 7-and-6 on the season.
