Cromartie Honored Following Record

Antonio Cromartie was honored as an AFC Player of the Week after his performance last Sunday in Minnesota.  The Chargers cornerback returned a missed field goal 109 yards for the longest play in NFL history.  Cromartie is in his second year in the NFL and this is his first Player of the Week Award.  

Castillo Out for Six Weeks

The Chargers have lost defensive end Luis Castillo for six weeks due to an ankle injury.  Castillo underwent surgery to repair a tendon in his ankle on Monday afternoon. The Chargers expect Castillo to be back in action in time for a game against the Denver Broncos on Christmas Eve.
