Chargers Enter Bye Week
The San Diego Chargers have the weekend off as they enter a bye week. San Diego is 3-and-3 midway through the season, with a 2-and-2 record in the AFC West. The Chargers will host Houston as they resume action against the Texans next week.

Quarterback Philip Rivers, who led the team to a 41-3 win over the Broncos in Denver last week, has been recognized as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance. Rivers completed 13-of-18 passes for 270 yards, including two touchdowns. Rivers also ran for the first rushing touchdown of his career.
