Chargers Looking to Reach .500 Sunday Against Oakland

The Chargers can improve their season record to 3-and-3 if they beat the Oakland Raiders at Qualcomm Stadium Sunday.  The Chargers are 2-and-3 for the year following last Sunday’s 41-3 win over the Broncos in Denver.  Quarterback Phil Rivers was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his 270 passing yards and two touchdowns in the game.  The Raiders have had two weeks to prepare after their 35-17 win over Miami and a bye last weekend.  They’re hoping to move into the win column with a 2-and-2 record.  The Chargers have an impressive record against Oakland, having won seven games in a row over the past four years.  A win Sunday will restore San Diego to the lead in the AFC West.
