What is Wrong With the Chargers?
Posted by Jim Dubenetzky on September 27th, 2007 filed in FeaturesThere are so many possible reasons as to why the Chargers of this year look nothing like the 14-2 Chargers of last year. First of all, when you lose both your coordinators and then you fire your head coach their is going to be some continuity issues throughout the team. With the struggles at ILB, the Chargers could definitely have used LB Donnie Edwards this year. Finally the offfense, what is happening? Defenses loaded the box with 7 or 8 guys last year to try and stop RB LaDainian Tomlinson but LT still dominated and produced. The offensive line didn’t lose any players, but it looks like they have lost their fire. All in all, I think what’s wrong with Chargers is a combination of all of these things…What do you think?
