Posted in The San Diego Chargers waived LB Antwan Applewhite, S Tra Battle, C Mark Bihl, RB Eldra Buckley, WR Greg Camarillo, DE Andre Coleman, DE Keith Grennan, S Bhawoh Jue, T Cory Lekkerkerker, DT Louis Leonard, T Tony Pape, RB Germaine Race, LB Nick Roach, DE Derreck Robinson, WR Mark Simmons and LB Jyles Tucker. San Diego also placed RB Germaine Race on injured reserve.
All of the rookies that were drafted by the Chargers made the final 53-man roster but none of the undrafted free agent rookies made the cut. The Chargers are one of the few teams who kept all of their draft picks on their 53-man roster. Take for example the Patriots who had only two of their draft picks make their final roster. With another successful draft the Chargers seem like they have reloaded their roster with even more talent.
