Chargers WR Eric Parker underwent surgery to repair a broken toe and is expected to miss up 10 weeks. This is not a terrible loss for the Bolts because they do have depth at the WR position. Rookie WR Craig Davis is the front runner to take the reps in Parker’s place. WR Malcolm Floyd will also see a few more oppurtunities on the practice field. It will be interesting to see whether or not Parker will even be in the mix when he returns from injury a few weeks into the season. Davis and Floyd show loads of potential and will take this chance to show the coaches they are ready to play.
